About Me
I'm currently enjoying life in Phoenix, AZ, but I'm originally from the Midwest. I started my professional career in higher education, followed by several years in financial investments and consumer banking, before finding my true passion in software development.
As cliché as it may sound, I am a big believer in life-long learning and hard work. I believe knowledge and success are only limited by the time and effort that we put into it. I treat every opportunity as a chance to strengthen my knowledge. What draws me to programming is the endless opportunities to learn, grow, build new things, and share what I've learned along the way.
With my free time I enjoy learning, traveling, mountain biking, and I recently started getting into woodworking. I have a few small hobby clothing business (Shark Life Clothing Co. and Away & Wander).
